Where the dikes guide you and the dunes surprise you.

Whether walking or biking, you’ll discover Zeeland’s diversity at your own pace. From vast dune landscapes and wide beaches to peaceful forests, salt marshes, and mudflats, each route reveals a different part of Zeeland’s landscape.

Along the way, you’ll encounter traces of cultural history: old dikes, characteristic farmhouses, and monuments that serve as reminders of the centuries-long struggle against the water. The well-maintained bike and hiking trails lead you along winding country roads and through charming, authentic villages where you can take a break on a patio.

Thanks to its extensive network of routes, Zeeland is an ideal destination for an active vacation or a relaxing day outdoors with the family. Whether you opt for a brisk walk through the dunes or a long bike ride with the wind at your back—here you’ll enjoy peace, space, and endless vistas. It’s no wonder that Zeeland has been awarded the title of “five-star cycling province” by the National Cycling Platform.
