Arrival and Sta
The accommodation must be occupied no later than 10:00 PM on the day of arrival, unless other arrangements have been made.
Any complaints regarding the holiday accommodation must be reported to the landlord/owner immediately at the start of the rental period, but no later than 24 hours after the beginning of the stay, in order to give the landlord the opportunity to resolve the complaint to your satisfaction. After this period, no claims regarding defects of the accommodation can be made.
Stay by the Sea is not liable for the consequences of theft, accidents, or damage to the guest’s property, except in cases where this is due to its own fault. In such cases, however, Stay by the Sea can never be held liable for compensation exceeding the coverage that would normally be provided by a standard public liability insurance under these circumstances.
Departure
On the day of departure, the tenant must leave the accommodation before 10:00 AM.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in our accommodations.
Reservations and Payments
A reservation can be made online and is binding for both the tenant and Stay by the Sea, provided that the requested holiday accommodation is available for the specified period.After booking the accommodation, the tenant will receive a reservation confirmation/invoice.
A deposit of 50% of the total rental amount (including additional costs) must be transferred to the account of Stay by the Sea within 7 days of the booking date. The remaining 50% of the total rental amount (including additional costs) must be paid at least 6 weeks before arrival.
For reservations made within 6 weeks of arrival, the full amount must be paid immediately.
Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of the reservation with associated costs.
An administration fee will be charged per reservation.
- Every reservation can be canceled within 24 hours, calculated from the reservation date. You must notify us of this both by phone and by email.
- If the cancellation is made after these 24 hours, the cancellation conditions remain fully in force.
- For reservations made within 8 weeks before the start of the rental period, this option right does not apply, and the normal cancellation conditions apply.
- The landlord may, due to special circumstances, be compelled to cancel and terminate the rental agreement. Cancellation and termination must be made in writing. In such a case, the landlord will make every effort to offer the tenant a suitable alternative. If this is not satisfactory to the tenant, the landlord will refund all amounts paid by the tenant, without any liability on the part of the landlord.
- The tenant is entitled to cancel and terminate the rental agreement, subject to the following conditions:
- Cancellation and termination must first be reported by phone and by email to Stay by the Sea.
- If the cancellation is made within 24 hours after the reservation and the start of the rental period is more than 8 weeks before arrival, the option right applies.
- If the cancellation is made after 24 hours and up to 29 days before the start of the rental period, only the booking costs will be charged.
- If the cancellation is made between 28 days and 15 days before the start of the rental period, 50% of the rental amount will be charged.
- If the cancellation is made between 14 days and 8 days before the start of the rental period, 75% of the rental amount will be charged.
- If the cancellation is made from 7 days before the start of the rental period, 100% of the rental amount will be charged. Administrative costs will always be charged in the event of cancellation.
- After receiving a cancellation from the tenant, the landlord will issue a cancellation invoice in accordance with the provisions of this article. Any amounts already paid will be settled in accordance with the cancellation invoice, and any remaining balance in favor of the tenant will be refunded.
- Taking property belonging to the accommodation outside the building. In the event of intentional damage to property of the accommodation, the person responsible may be held liable for the repair and/or replacement costs.
- Consuming, using, trading, or possessing narcotics.
- Using nitrous oxide.
- Causing disturbance to others, including but not limited to loud music, inappropriate behavior, or noise of any kind.
- Smoking inside the accommodation. If we find that smoking has taken place, we will be obliged to charge a cleaning fee of €175.00. If the fire alarm is triggered due to smoking, the fire brigade call-out fee of €275.00 will be charged to you.
- Receiving guests for the purpose of commercial sexual activities.
- Het is absoluut verboden kaarsen/wierook aan te steken in verband met het brandalarm en brandgevaar. (Het beveiligingssysteem wordt direct geactiveerd).
- Bepaalde decoratie, zoals bijvoorbeeld confetti, is niet toegestaan in de accommodatie's. Extra schoonmaakkosten of technische mankementen naar aanleiding hiervan zal voor rekening zijn van de gast.
- Bij beschadiging, vermissing of vernieling van eigendommen van de accommodatie leidt tot onmiddellijke verwijdering, aansprakelijkstelling en/of aangifte bij de politie.
